In a thrilling start to the Western Conference Finals, the Dallas Mavericks overcame an 18-point deficit to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105 in Game 1. The game was played at Target Center in Minneapolis on May 22, 2024.
Doncic Leads Mavericks' Comeback
Luka Doncic led the Mavericks' comeback with a game-high 30 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter. Doncic also had 13 rebounds and 9 assists.
The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who had 26 points. Karl-Anthony Towns had 23 points and 11 rebounds, while D'Angelo Russell added 17 points.
The Mavericks will now have a 1-0 lead in the series as they head back to Dallas for Game 2 on May 24.
